# Connect a wallet

> Add Somnia to an EVM wallet such as MetaMask.

Somnia is EVM-compatible, so any EVM wallet works. Add the network once, then switch to it like any other chain.

## Add the network

1. Open your wallet's network settings and choose **Add a network manually**.
2. Enter the values for mainnet (or testnet) from [Network info](./network-info).
3. Save, then switch to **Somnia Mainnet** (or **Somnia Testnet**).

## Get testnet tokens

Request STT from the [testnet faucet](https://explorer.testnet.somnia.network/faucet) to pay for gas while you build.

## Trade without a prompt per order

Venues on Somnia can use session keys and smart accounts so users approve once and then act without a wallet prompt for each order. The [Somnia Explorer](./explorer) manages smart accounts, session keys and gas sponsorship.
